Hi, I’m Taylor! (she/they)

Taylor Kravitz is a clinical supervisor in Portland, OR.

I’m a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist offering supervision to Associates in Oregon. I love working with new clinicians! New therapists are too often exploited, undervalued, and not getting the support they deserve. My hope is to provide affirming support that can help new therapists find confidence, ease, and joy in their work.

My Areas of Focus

I focus on working with clinicians who are neurodivergent, queer & gender expansive, and want to be in private practice or a small group practice setting.

I specialize in sex therapy, relationship/couples therapy, ethical non-monogamy, neurodivergence, and queer individuals/relationships.

My Approach

As a therapist, I tend to integrate IFS, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy.

I approach supervision in a balanced way, meaning I offer support with the personal, clinical, and logistical realms of being a therapist. I aim to make room for your experience as a human and how your experiences and feelings show up in your clinical work. I will also support you in finding your style, developing confidence in your approach, identifying interventions to use in sessions, and figuring out what you need to make this work sustainable. We can talk about money feels, your scheduling needs, business building, executive functioning supports, and more!

My Professional Background:

I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a specialization in sexuality studies & a minor in psychology. I completed my Master’s degree in Marriage, Couples & Family Therapy with a Sex Therapy specialization at Lewis & Clark College here in Portland. Before starting my own practice, I worked in a group private practice that specializes in couples & sex therapy. I now own Empowered Fulfillment Therapy, a group practice in Portland, OR. I also offer business coaching for neurodivergent therapists. I am an adjunct professor at Lewis & Clark College Graduate School teaching about sex therapy and neurodivergent relationships. In addition to my clinical work with clients, I also offer neurodivergent affirming adult Autism assessments.

Who I am as a Human:

I’m white, femme, queer, fat, neurodivergent, a mom of 2 little humans, vegan, and a business owner. I love food, podcasts, reality TV, true crime, and cozy gaming. I’m soft-spoken, slow to warm up, kind, and silly. I spend most of my time on business things and being with my little family.

FAQs

  • My rate for supervision is $185 for a 50-60 minute meeting.

I know that my fee is a bit higher than many supervisors. I charge a rate that makes my work sustainable & my goal is to help you do the same :) I don't take on many supervisees so that I can really be there for you.

  • We will likely meeting virtually, though I do have some limited in-person availability in NE Portland.

  • You’re likely a good fit supervisee for me if you are willing to show up to the process with openness, integrity, willingness to learn, accountability, compassion, and curiosity.

I love working with folks who are queer, neurodivergent, bigger bodied, and/or interested in sex therapy, couples therapy, & neurodivergent affirming therapy.

It’s important to me that supervisees honor that they’re working under my license and hold that with care.

  • Those who will be working with lots of higher acuity concerns like abuse & addiction support and children are not the best fit based on my training. Clinicians who tend to be diagnosis-centric and don’t have an emphasis on social justice won’t be the best fit for my approach.
